Books Reviews

The Business Book

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This is a phenomenal introduction to the business world, from finance to marketing to startups as well as how great leaders should be. This book will give you the big picture and then you can dive deeper by yourself. It probably has a value of 2 years of business school.

The Science Book

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Pretty good, the book doesn’t go into 100% details (it would require thousands of books anyways) but it really connected the dots between different discoveries and how we came the current state of art. I would suggest this book to everybody.

Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

could’ve been written in an article rather than having a whole book about it, but it’s interesting nonetheless.

Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I don’t know if I like the author’s writing a lot but Elon Musk’s story is still great, he’s a legend.

The Inevitable

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Good. Could’ve been much shorter though.

The hard thing about hard things

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

An interesting book from the perspective of a CEO.

Steve Jobs

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Best book I have read So far.

The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs: A New History of a Lost World

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

I didn’t like that it kept talking about the author’s experience a lot but I enjoyed reading about the journey of dinosaurs in an organized matter.

One To zero

Rating: 4 out of 5.

A great book about how startups should look like.

The intelligent investor

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

Honestly it’s a very boring book but it gives you some common sense thinking about investing that if you didn’t know about before then you should 100% read this book more than once. I think the hype around it is what made this book a little bit disappointing to me when I read it.

2001 – 2019
